Answers to common questions about our Future Neighbors Program

The Future Neighbors Program is a way to plan ahead and join our senior living waitlist with exclusive benefits like early event invitations, first-choice apartment notifications, and community engagement opportunities before you move in.

A: The program fee is $500. It is fully refundable if you decide not to move in or will be applied toward your $2,000 security deposit once you move into the community.

A: When an apartment matching your preferences becomes available, you will be contacted and have 72 hours to accept before the opportunity moves to the next person on the list.

A: Once you accept an apartment, you have 30 days to move in. If you choose to delay, you will be financially responsible for the apartment after that 30-day window.

A: Joining now ensures you build relationships, enjoy events and dining experiences, receive valuable moving resources, and have first access to available apartments — giving you a smoother, more personalized transition when the time comes.

A: If you decide not to move into Sholom, your $500 Future Neighbors fee is fully refundable.

A: Waitlist times vary based on your preferences and the type of apartment you’re looking for. Some floor plans and service levels are in higher demand, so we encourage early enrollment in the program to better align with your desired timeline.
