Hospice Volunteer Opportunities

Hospice volunteers are an integral part of our hospice team

  • End of Life Doulas – Understand death as a natural and important part of life and assist the dying and their loved ones in reflecting on the life lived, and the death that is coming.
  • Companion Volunteers – Provide emotional support, companionship and friendship through weekly visits.
  • Pet Therapy Volunteers – Provide much needed joy and happiness and a sense of normalcy through visits with their certified therapy pets.
  • 11th Hour Vigil Volunteers – Provide companionship and support for people who are at end of life
  • Bereavement Volunteers – Provide emotional support to families after a loved one has died through check in phone calls.  (This opportunity can be done in your home.)
  • Administrative Support Volunteers – Assist hospice by providing office support to our busy office.
